Bottle Sort Ultra
Sort coloured water across 100 levels. Nine tiers, optimal-move stars, a daily challenge and Monty the cat as your coach. Every board is guaranteed solvable. Free on Android.
100 levels. One ladder. Pure logic.
Tap a bottle, pour into another. Only matching top colours or empty bottles accept the pour. Sort every bottle to hold four of one colour to clear the board.
Every level has an optimal solution. Hit it for three stars. Your best run is always kept — no worse scores overwrite better ones.
Download Bottle Sort Ultra. Sort today's puzzle. Then sort tomorrow's.
§ 01 — Difficulty
Nine tiers from Tutorial to Extreme.
The ladder climbs cleanly: more bottles, more colours, deeper planning required. Clear a level with at least one star to unlock the next.
-
TUTORIAL–EASY
Gentle introduction
Smaller setups, fewer colours. Learn the pouring rules and basic sorting logic.
-
MID TIERS
Growing complexity
More bottles and colours demand forward planning and efficient sequences.
-
HARD–EXTREME
Serious brain work
Tight move budgets and crowded boards. Only the most elegant solutions earn three stars.
§ 02 — Scoring
Stars that actually mean something.
Every level was solved in advance by the game's own engine. Your best (fewest moves) run is permanently saved.
-
★★★
Exact optimal moves
Hit the pre-computed shortest solution. The gold standard. Undos count against your total.
-
★★
Close to optimal
A couple of extra pours still earns two stars. Respectable and satisfying.
-
★
Just finish it
Clear the board for one star. Progress unlocked, streak intact, ready for the next.
§ 03 — Daily & extras
A fresh puzzle every day.
Plus endless more.
Keep the streak alive with the daily. Once a tier is unlocked you can play unlimited extra random boards in that configuration.
-
Daily
Streak counter
One daily puzzle per day (at your current tier or any unlocked). Miss a day and the streak resets. Long streaks feel good.
-
Extras
Unlimited randoms
Each tier's home row has an Extra button. Fresh generated boards forever — no limits, no waiting.
-
Guaranteed
Every board is solvable
The game only serves boards its own solver has proven solvable. No dead-ends, no frustration from impossible layouts.
§ 04 — Meet Monty
Your optional cat coach.
Monty drops in with tips, tier intros and the occasional opinion about milk. Turn him off any time.
-
Helpful
Tutorial tips & nudges
Gentle guidance when you're over-undoing or missing an obvious pour. He cheers on three-star solves.
-
Optional
Quiet mode
Love the puzzles but not the cat? Settings let you disable Monty completely while keeping everything else.
§ 05 — Frequently asked
Questions, answered.
For app-store searchers and curious humans.
- Is Bottle Sort Ultra free?
- Yes. Bottle Sort Ultra is free on Google Play with an optional one-time Premium purchase that removes ads forever. No subscriptions, no energy tokens, no recurring charges.
- How many levels and tiers are there?
- 100 levels organised into nine tiers from Tutorial (gentle intro) through to Extreme (serious planning required). Every player sees the exact same ladder of levels.
- What do the stars mean?
- Each level has a pre-computed shortest solution. Match the move count exactly for 3 stars, get close for 2, or just finish for 1. Your best (lowest move) run is saved — undos count against you, so plan carefully.
- Is it on iPhone or iPad?
- Bottle Sort Ultra is currently Android-only.
- What is the daily challenge?
- One fresh puzzle every day at the current tier you're on (or any unlocked). Keep a streak going by clearing the daily. Miss a day and it resets — consistency is rewarded.
- Can I play more than the daily puzzle?
- Yes. Every tier has an Extra button for unlimited randomly generated boards in that tier's configuration. Once the main 100-level ladder is complete you still have endless play.
- Who is Monty?
- Monty the cat is your optional coach. He offers tips, tier introductions, congratulations and the odd comment about milk. You can turn him off completely in settings if you prefer a quiet sort.
